Welcome to my Miniature Goat website. I had been researching and dreaming about miniature goats for many years when I decide to take the plunge and purchase some. In 2013 I purchased my 1st 4 Australian Miniature goats and have never looked back.
In 2014 I purchased 2 bucklings from Happy Herds Miniature Goat Stud in QLD. These 2 boys are beautiful colours and characters with stunning blue eye's. Can't wait to see what gorgeous kids they put on the ground in the future.
In 2016 I introduced some Pygmy lines into my herd with the marvellous Kawinkidink Look At Marbles. I now have a small herd of Pygmy X Australian Miniature goats. In 2017 and 2018 I added some more new Pygmy lines.
I live in the lovely Murray Mallee, South Australia on 90 acres and now have goats from many studs around the country and have kept many kids of my own breeding. In 2017 my whole herd was tested clear for CAE and Johne's Disease. Please check out my pages and send me an email.
Essential requirements to own goats include good fencing, wind/rain proof shelter (goats hate getting wet and bad weather). Despite the tales of goats eating anything they require a good quality diet of grain mix and hay. They do prefer drier, rougher pastures then fresh green grass but are good at tidying up paddocks that sheep/cattle may leave behind.
People in the suburbs need council permission to have goats. They are quite vocal animals and council tend not to allow them. People in the country provide ideal homes on small and large properties. You will require a PIC number for your property to own goats.
